Full Vashistasana
In this class we will explore the various stages of vashistasana. Strengthening the shoulders, stretching the hips and lengthening the hamstrings are key elements in this practice.
Wall Inversions
One of my favorite classes! The entire class is using the wall for support and to ensure correct alignment. Learn how to rotate the shoulders and lengthen the spine to properly activate your core in inversions.
Detox Twists
Tamal leads us through an intense vinyasa flow, focused on twisting, core, lunges and endurance. Be ready to sweat and have fun!
Forearm Fun
Have wrist issues? This class is for you! Give your wrists a break with this flow offering classical Moon salutations, strengthening poses on the forearms, and a yummy mandala namaskara moving meditation focusing on the hips. We finish with the strong inner thigh and core work preparing us for a peak pose forearm balance inversion, aka pincha mayurasana. This class will introduce variations using forearms to alleviate wrist pain that you can take with you into any class.
Vinyasa Wave
Let's ride the vinyasa wave! In this class we will tap into the strength and fluidity of our bodies. As we move through a wave of heat building asanas. As we dynamically link the breath to the movement we'll allow our bodies to move deeper into the stretches. You will feel yourself shedding impurities, while creating space for strength and ease. By the end of class you'll feel nurtured, nourished and relaxed.
Open and Explore
This class focuses on opening the shoulders and lengthening the hamstrings; in order to take flight, while exploring bird of paradise. Well balanced, full of heat, with a cool down that will strengthen the spine.
Transition with Stability into Bird of Paradise
This class opens our shoulders and hips with emphasis on balance in challenging postures.
Continuous Flow
This class is one of my favorite ways to practice, continuous flow. We will be working on linking our breath with our movement, finding sweat and also finding some strength. You will feel your body getting stronger and your mind getting clearer with the work we will do here. As always take breaks when you need to and have some flowing fun!
Prenatal Balancing Flow
This class will balance your energy. We will do lots of stretching, some strengthening poses and end with a deep relaxation.
Prenatal Strengthening Flow
This prenatal class incorporates hip and shoulder opening, side bending and strengthening poses. Do this practice when you need an energy boost during any stage of your pregnancy.
Balancing The Kidneys | Yin
In this practice we will focus on balancing the kidneys through various yin yoga poses. Enjoy the deep, relaxing benefits of a yin practice while restoring your kidneys.
Lengthening The Spine
The spine is one of the most important physical elements in yoga postures. This continuous flow helps create an awareness in the spine at all times. It is a beautiful way to gently strengthen your core and to move safely through a vinyasa flow practice.
